The Southwell Petite Rise and Recline Chair features a split backrest cushion that offers both support and comfort. The seat has a modern full chaise design. This design ensures that it feels soft at the back of your knee while sitting. When reclining, there is no gap between the seat and footrest, providing complete support from your hips to your toes.Standing is so Easy

Using the touch button handset control, located in the side pocket, you can easily raise the chair into a standing position with just a button press. You can also lower the chair slowly to a seated position.

The chair is available with a Single Motor Riser Recliner action or the deluxe Dual Motor Riser Recliner action. The dual motor option lets you operate the footrest and backrest independently. You can adjust the footrest to any angle you prefer.

Mammoth Medical Grade Foam

All Celebrity Riser Recliner Chairs in fabric (not leather) contain NHS award-winning Mammoth Medical Grade™ Foam Seating. Mammoth Medical Grade Foam is different from regular foam. It has natural cooling benefits, which reduces sweating and the build-up of bacteria. This foam also improves circulation and posture and provides better support. This is especially helpful for those who have to sit for long periods.

Rechargeable Battery Back-Up

A rechargeable battery backup system is available with this chair as an optional extra. The latest rechargeable battery backup system by Celebrity Furniture is compatible with all Celebrity Electric Recliners and Riser Recliners. In the event of a power cut it will give the user between seventy and one hundred lifts before the need to recharge, giving peace of mind and reassurance to the user.

For Your Safety

We strongly recommend using the Rechargeable Battery System when the chair is in a spot where users can walk behind it. The mains lead can pose a trip hazard. By using the rechargeable battery system, you can eliminate the mains cable and still operate the chair for up to 80 lifts, reducing the risk of trips or falls.

Adjustable Headrest - Lumbar Support

As an optional extra, a powered adjustable headrest is available. This is ideal for those who want extra head support while reclining. You can raise or lower the headrest to the exact position you need using the touch buttons on the chair's handset. There's also adjustable lumbar support, which provides support exactly where it's needed. The lumbar support is only available with the adjustable headrest.

Heat & Massage

This 10-motor massage system has a color LCD handset display, which makes it easy to operate and control. A lumbar heat pad comes with all massage systems. For more information, see Massage and Heat.

All Celebrity Riser Recliner Chairs are available, on castors, which are ideal for carpet, or glides, which work better on hard flooring.

Delivery is performed by a 2 man crew who will bring your new furniture into the room of your choice, unpack, assemble and remove all the packaging.

Collection & Disposal of old Furniture

We can arrange for your old furniture to be collected at the same time your new furniture is delivered. There is a charge for this service of £65.00 per chair and £100.00 per sofa. You can book the collection of your old furniture at checkout or arrange this by calling 0800 023 4008.
