King Size Adjustable Beds

The one thing we all want is to wake up refreshed after a good night's sleep and although a double bed can be used by two people, a King Size Bed gives both you and your partner room to stretch and spread out giving a more comfortable night's sleep. King Size Beds are not only wider but also 3ins longer than a double bed, which is ideal for the taller person.
A King Size Adjustable Bed is in effect a twin bed that allows both sides of the bed to be operated individually. You can sit up in bed reading a book or watching TV whilst your partner lays flat sleeping.
Adjustable Beds are Larger Than Traditional Beds
When purchasing a King Size Adjustable Bed, firstly ensure it will fit into the space where you intend to use it. A King Size Adjustable Bed Mattress is 6’ 6” in length not 6’ 3” as a standard type of Mattress, also allow for any headboard or added frame surround you may have selected.
Easy To Operate
Operating your new bed is easy, the simple touch button hand control operates both the head-end and the foot-end individually. You can raise the head end to the exact height that is right for you or you can lower it to a flat normal bed position. The foot end can be raised or lowered in the same way. Each side of the bed can be operated individually to accommodate both users.
If you intend to use a hoist with your new bed it is advisable to select a base that is on legs, not a deep divan base as this will allow your hoist to fit under the bed. Various mattresses are available, including Pocket Sprung, Latex and Memory Foam.
Latex Mattresses
Latex is a natural product that supports your body, it's extremely durable and Eco Friendly. Latex Foam performs just as well when supporting the heavier parts of your body, such as your hips and your shoulders as it does when supporting the lighter areas. Latex is a soft yet supportive product that will always return to its original state after use.
Latex is a natural product (extracted sap from rubber trees) that is breathable, this is especially advantageous for use with beds as it allows air to naturally flow preventing fluids from getting trapped and therefore preventing the build-up of bacteria.
Memory Foam Mattresses
Memory foam was a product developed by NASA in the early 70’s. It was originally intended to help astronauts cope with the incredible G-forces they encounter. It works the opposite of Latex. Whereas Latex is always pushing upwards to support you, Memory Foam reacts to your body heat and shapes to your body, supporting sore joints and allowing better circulation.
Pocket Sprung Mattresses
Pocket springing has always been a popular choice for a good-quality bed. Each spring is upholstered in its own separate pocket allowing each one to move up and down individually and therefore shape to you and support you correctly.
All our Adjustable Beds are produced here in the UK and conform to the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988/1989, 1993 and 2010 set levels of fire resistance for domestic upholstered furniture, furnishings and other products containing upholstery.
