The Canterbury Standard Size Riser Recliner Chair is designed for the average sized person. 

The touch-button hand control located on the side of the chair allows you to easily switch between reclining, sitting and standing with a simple press of a button. With the one handset you can control all the motions of the chair, be it standing or reclining.

You can also adjust the footrest to any angle you desire!

The Canterbury's lateral backrest cushions are designed to support you from your hips to your shoulders and the horizontal head cushion gives great support for your head and neck when sitting or reclined. The seat and footrests are a full chaise design which means your legs get complete support from your hips to your toes, while the wrap-over seat fronts give soft support at the back of your knees. Choose between three colours of wood finish: mahogany, teak, or natural - all with a beautifully polished finish that looks both stylish and practical.

Single or Dual Motor Riser Recliner?

Choose from the single motor option, or upgrade to the amazing dual motor option. With the dual motor, you can control both the footrest and backrest independently giving you an infinate number of reclined positions.

Adjustable Headrest

The extremely popular powered adjustable headrest is the perfect option for those who need a little extra comfort and suport while relaxing or taking a snooze. The power adjustment is operated from your Riser Recliner hand control. The Adjustable Headrest can only be ordered with Dual motor models.

Castors or Glides?

You can choose between castors or glides, with castors being best for carpets and glides being best for hardwood floors.

Rechargeable Battery Backup

As an optional extra, the most recent rechargeable battery backup system can be factory fitted to this chair. This system is compatible with all electric recliners by Celebrity Furniture and will give the user between 50-100 lifts without needing to recharge it. In case of a power outage, the user has peace of mind knowing they won't be stranded.
