Celebrity Furniture look Ahead to 2025

Upholstered manufacturer Celebrity Furniture has reaffirmed its commitment to people and products as the business looks ahead to 2025 following a successful January Furniture Show.

During the January Furniture Show, the Nottingham-based company, which was crowned ‘Best Supplier for Fabric Upholstery and Best Supplier for Delivery Service’ in the Big Furniture Awards 2024, as voted by the industry, introduced a number of new products, as well as a new fabrics too.

Moving into 2025, Celebrity Furniture are looking forward to the challenges ahead and are confident their new launches will stand them in good stead for the coming year. The ever popular Farndon range is now available in leather and with the option of the Adjustable Headrest and Lumbar Support, this enhances the product to another level and gives retailers more choice to tailor the furniture to their customer needs.

The new stylish Southall Recliner & Sofa range also has the Adjustable Headrest and Lumbar Suport option featuring on all Powered Recliners and Riser Recliners, which suites it perfectly.

Celebrity Furniture, which has been producing quality reclining chairs an sofas for over 40 years – now working independently and funding itself through good and tough times, also launched several new and exciting fabrics.

The launch of of the new Montage fabric range gives a different look with a familiar feel, to already established upholstery models, Celebrity are always looking to elevate their ranges and after the fantastic launch last year of the Iona fabric, which proved to be extreamly popular, this new launch sits alongside it nicely.”

One such challenge that continues to be a persistent theme across the furniture industry, is the skills shortage. Furniture manufacturing, has seen a decline in the number of skilled workers due to inadequate training programs. Celebrity has been proactive on this front, investing in both machinery and personnel over the last few years.

Due to the lack of skills needed within the furniture trade, Celebrity have been training in-house for a some time now to ensure they have the right talent and skill sets moving forward. Motivation and development of staff and Improved staff retention is essential and high on their list of commitments to work force developement.

Having invested heavily in the latest technology and machinery in the past few years, production is now more streamline and efficient, resulting in quicker lead times. Focusing on a younger group to enhance their workforce has become a priority more recently, as this will enhance and develop and sustainable workforce for the future of the company.
