Designed with the average size person in mind, the Newstead Riser Recliner Chair oozes style and quality.
The Newstead Riser Recliner Chair is operated by a touch button hand control located in the side pocket. With the simple press of a button, the chair will safely lift you to a standing position making getting out of a chair the easiest thing imaginable. Press the opposite button and the chair will gently lower you back to a seated position.
You can raise or lower the footrest to any angle you wish and if you opt for the deluxe Dual Motor Riser Recliner you can operate the footrest and backrest independently, allowing an infinite number of reclined positions, including an almost flat reclined position.
The backrest is designed to support you from your hips to your shoulders and the high head cushion gives great support for your head and neck when sitting or reclined. The seat and footrest is a full chaise design which means your legs get complete support from your hips to your toes and the wrap-over seat front gives soft support at the back of your knees.
Single or Dual Motor Riser Recliner
Available with a Single Motor Recliner Action or the Deluxe Dual Motor Recliner Action. The Dual Motor option allows you to operate the footrest and backrest independently. Both options have the power-lift facility to raise you into a standing position.
Mammoth Medical Grade Foam

Mammoth Medical Grade Foam, unlike conventional foam interiors, has natural cooling benefits. This reduces sweating and the build-up of bacteria. Mammoth Foam also promotes better circulation, better support, and better posture.
Adjustable Headrest
The extremely popular powered adjustable headrest gives support exactly where needed, especially in reclined or sleeping positions. Operated from your riser recliner hand control. Only available on Dual Motor Riser Recliner models.
Castors or Glides
You can choose between castors or glides, castors are ideal for use on carpet and glides are the perfect option for use on hard flooring.
Rechargeable Battery Back-Up
A rechargeable battery backup system is available with this chair as an optional extra. The latest rechargeable battery backup system is compatible with all Celebrity Electric Recliners. In the event of a power cut will give the user between fifty and one hundred lifts before the need to recharge. This gives peace of mind and reassurance to the user.
